Fishing

Anglers have the opportunity of trout fishing in the Vanoi valley: The entire zone is considered to have accessible, "prestigious waters" apart from the section where the Valsorda river flows through Caoria and there is a No Fishing Ban.

Day fishing licenses cost € 10.00 and can be bought in the administrative area of Canal San Bovo, in public offices or at the tourist office.

 • Max. daily catch of 6 trout ( salmo-trutta, salmo-marmoratus) min. size 20 cm (s. trutta) and 35 cm (s. marmoratus)
 • Fishing season only from 7 March to 30 September

Lake Calaita:
 • Max. daily catch of 6 trout – min. size 20 cm
 • The use of live or dead fish as bait is banned
 • Fishing season only from 7 March to 30 September
