Alpine and cross country skiing

There is a cross country ski track around the enchanting Calaita lake. Always ready for use over the winter months, it is a starting point for delightful excursions on skis.

The Vanoi valley is also excellent for alpine skiing as there are many routes along the slopes of the surrounding mountain chains.

Two important ski events are held in the Vanoi valley: "The Alpine Ski Meeting of Vanoi" in mid February and "The Lagorai Meeting" on the first Sunday of March.
